Children and Young People
St. Paul's welcomes children and young people of all ages.
For very young children we have a parent and child area at the back of the church well equiped with toys. At every Sunday morning service there are groups for children and young people of all ages. Once a month (on the third Sunday) the morning service is designed for all age groups.
LED - new groups for young people at St. Paul's
LED AM - our Sunday morning young people’s group for school years 7, 8, 9 & 10.
We meet on the 1st 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month, taking time out from the church service to explore things that matter to you using music, drama, art and discussion… and biscuits and, sometimes, jelly babies… in a relaxed atmosphere.
On Sunday evenings, from 7.30pm for school years 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13, LED C&C is just what it says.
Drop by when you can, leave when you need to, grab a cuppa or soft drink and something to eat* in a homely atmosphere and Chill & Chat. No programme, no preset agenda, just getting together to try to eek out that last bit of weekend before Monday arrives.
*Drinks and cake or biscuits provided …honest!
Meeting midweek for school years 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13, we look into some of the questions raised by Christianity: How could the Bible be relevant to the 21st century? Is it boring? Did Jesus really exist? Would he giggle at the Simpsons?
LED Discovering Jesus looks into this and more*.
