DAY 8 THE OLD WALLED CITY OF JERUSLAEM
- Unexpected visit onto the platform to view the Mosque of El Aqsa and the Dome of the Rock
- Spent time praying among Jews at the Western Wall
- Service of Holy Communion at the Sisters of Sion Convent
- Walked in the footsteps of Jesus along the Via Dolorosa (The Way of Sorrow)
- To Calvary within the church of the Holy Sepulchre
- Free time to explore more of the Old City of Jerusalem
DAY 9 QUMRAN, MASADA, DEAD SEA, JERUSALEM
- Early morning visit to the tomb where Jesus was laid within the Church of the Holy Sepulchre
- Coach journey through the Judean Desert
- Visit to Qumran to view the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and to see the excavated site of the Essene community
- Cable car ride to the plateau of Masada
- Descend to the lowest point below sea level on earth for a float in the Dead Sea
- Back to the hotel
- Overlooking the Western Wall as the Jews welcome in the Sabbath at dusk
DAY 10 OUR JOURNEY HOME
- Wake up call at 2.45am (Time ion Israel)
- Leave Hotel for Tel Aviv airport
- Flight back to Heathrow followed by coach journey to Southwell
- Arrive home at 3.45pm GMT
